Cookie Policy
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and session tokens. Together, these help the Service remember preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how Visagely is used.
2. How we use them
- Strictly necessary: authentication/session cookies, security tokens, load balancing, and fraud prevention. These are required for the Service to function.
- Preferences: remembering UI choices such as notification toggles or dismissed notices.
- Analytics (optional): aggregated usage metrics to improve navigation, conversion, and reliability. Where required, these run only with consent.
- Marketing (optional): measuring campaign effectiveness if we run ads. Disabled unless you opt in.
3. Session and account cookies
When you log in, Visagely sets a signed session cookie so we can recognize your account across pages such as Portal, Settings, Tokens, and Support. Logging out clears that session on the server side and instructs your browser to discard the cookie.
4. Managing cookies
You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings and, where shown, through our cookie banner or preference controls. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent login or purchases from working. Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not universally standardized; we treat consent tools and account preferences as the primary controls.
5. Third-party cookies
Payment, captcha, analytics, or embedded media providers may set their own cookies subject to their policies. We choose providers carefully and limit what they receive to what is needed for their role.
